Hello and Welcome!
Hello,
My name is Sarah Guigneaux, and I am a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in Dallas, Texas. I have provided speech therapy in Texas in the medical setting at a skilled nursing facility, the academic setting in schools with children from PreK to High School, and in private practice. Currently, I am working full-time in teletherapy serving primarily children. I have enjoyed all settings and found that each has its benefits. It has been phenomenal to work with adults, who share their life stories, experiences, and express gratitude when we meet major milestones. The great thing about adult speech therapy is that clients remember the experience of effective communication and feeding, and they are highly motivated to improve. With pediatric speech therapy, we are able to work with families and change the course of a child’s development. No matter how many years I work, I will never get used to experiencing a child’s first word or picture exchange. It is and will always be an emotional experience to give a person the gift of communication. The best part about private speech therapy is that we can serve our clients in the way we believe is best - through individualized, research-based methods that yield results. I believe I was born to be a speech-language pathologist even before knowing what an SLP could do. Please join me in my journey in private practice and teletherapy.
To SLPs and families of adults and children with communication disorders, this is an excellent place to look to hear a bit about my journey as a speech pathologist and teletherapist. My private practice, All Speech, LLC, was founded with a mission to improve accessibility to speech therapy services. We believe in the American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s (ASHA) vision of “Making effective communication, a human right, accessible and achievable for all. (ASHA.org/about/)”. We believe that everyone can succeed and that we can make a difference. We strive to provide the best online speech therapy and myofunctional therapy. Welcome to “All Speech with Sarah G the SLP”!
All my best,
Sarah G
